Professional Experience

At the Giarda Law Firm since 2000, he ascended to a partnership role in 2015.

He was among the pioneers in addressing the criminal liability of entities in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 231/2001, amassing extensive experience over the years in this specialized realm. This experience spans extrajudicial contexts, as well as providing legal assistance and defense for companies facing administrative liability charges within criminal proceedings. His focus includes entities operating in the oil & gas sector, as well as publicly listed companies subject to Supervisory Authorities’ oversight.

Furthermore, he has been involved in numerous cases encompassing domestic and international corruption, market manipulation, false corporate communications—particularly concerning international accounting standards—and violations related to gas excise. Presently, he is actively engaged in several significant cases concerning criminal environmental law and criminal health and safety in the workplace.

Additionally, he boasts substantial judicial expertise in Judicial Administration, particularly regarding asset prevention measures in accordance with Legislative Decree 159/2011. He has taken part in numerous seminars and conferences on this subject matter.

Notably, he has authored numerous publications featured in esteemed specialized journals and industry books. He also assumes the role of a speaker at various conferences. Holding positions as Chairman and member within several Supervisory Bodies for Italian companies, including publicly listed and multinational enterprises operating in Italy, underscores his influence.
Moreover, he contributes as a member of the Council of the Milan Bar Association and holds the position of Chairman within the Criminal Justice Commission.
